About My Social Work Practice in Greenbelt, Maryland

Empowering, guiding, and facilitating
personal
and professional
change

I am a Social Worker in private practice and my work is dedicated to empowering, guiding, and facilitating personal and professional change. I provide counseling, small business and organizational consulting and project assistance for a variety of clients.

I have an enthusiasm about change and the ability to see possibilities in every challenge. My professional experience spans over 25 years with public, private, profit and non-profit domains providing counseling, consulting, administrative, management and program development, quality assurance, and technical assistance services.

Throughout my career, I have assisted hundreds of clients interested in making positive shifts in their life, spearheaded the development of creative programs, provided clinical leadership and ensured high quality standards. I am currently enrolled in the Applied Healing Arts graduate program at Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland, which integrates philosophy, spirituality and psychology (for more information on community and graduate programs, check out www.tai.edu.com).

My office is located at Belle Point Wellness, 7935 Belle Point Drive, Greenbelt, Maryland, minutes from the Beltway and the Parkway. Evening and Saturday hours are available for the convenience of my clients. I can be reached at [email protected] or by telephone at 301-345-4342.

Are You Interested in Counseling?

My counseling clients come to me with worries, regrets, stress, or feelings of being alone with their dissatisfactions. What I enjoy most about my work is that I am able to help people look at different aspects of their lives and create opportunities for growth and change.

People often describe me as compassionate, insightful and encouraging. Through our work together, my clients have been better able to understand their situations and have developed concrete actions that have improved their lives.

There are three questions that may be helpful for you to consider:
1.     Are you often worried, regretful, stressed out, or feeling alone?

2.   Do you ever find yourself overwhelmed, confused or reluctant to take risks?
3.   Do you often feel as though your life is passing you by or that you are paying more attention to others' lives instead of
       your own?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then you may want to consider three more questions:
1.    Are you motivated to feel better and to experience some positive changes in your life?
2.    Are you willing to spend time and energy focusing on your self?
3.    Are you open to seeing if working with someone would be beneficial for you?

There are never right or wrong questions and the answers may not be simple or cut and dry. What is most important is to have an idea of how satisfied you are with your life and to consider the option of available help if needed.

Please feel free to contact me at 301-345-4342 or e mail me at [email protected] if you would like to learn more about my services, discuss your situation further and/or set up an appointment.  I can offer you confidential consulting focused on your personal and/or professional needs, including strategizing and creating action steps to produce results.
